The History of Beres Construction

Beres Construction is run by Gary Beres and was founded by his father, the late John Beres. John's motto was "Do it right or don't do it at all" and Gary still lives by that principal.

John became involved in the construction business as a matter of necessity. He contracted to have a home built in the late 1940's. In the midst of the construction, the builder skipped town. John finished the home himself and then sold it. After that he continued to build and sell homes.

Gary started working with his father when he was just a boy and grew up in the home building business. They continued to work together as a team up until the time of John's death when he was 85 years old. Gary credits his father for teaching him everything about the business and instilling in him the personal values such as honesty and integrity that have made him successful in business.

Over the years, Beres Construction has also gained experience in multi-family homes, light commercial properties, and land development but concentrates mainly on high-end custom single family homes.
